Domino G50i Thermal Inkjet Printer
Domino G50i: Engineered for Coding on Primary and Secondary Packaging
The Domino G50i thermal inkjet printer represents the perfect solution for high-speed manufacturing lines. It is designed to code items on flat packaging, flexible films prior to forming and sealing, and stable, well-guided cartons where consistent movement is assured. Frequent uses include, but are not limited to, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), personal hygiene items, and the food industry.
The Domino G50i delivers alphanumeric text and codes readable by scanners and automated vision systems at superior resolutions up to 600×600 dpi. Capable of marking at speeds reaching 76 m/min at 300×300 dpi, it easily handles QR codes, DataMatrix, 1D barcodes with excellent scan rates, as well as messages containing comprehensive packaging information.
Domino offers water-based and ethanol-based ink formulations suitable for porous and non-porous surfaces, supporting paper, cardboard, plastics, metals, films, and a wide range of flexible packaging.
With zero installation complexity and no maintenance required, after setting up the Domino G50i, the only routine action is to replace the cartridge in the printhead when depleted.
The device can also be linked to a checkweigher via its communication port to enable advanced integration with automated lines.
Why Opt for the Domino G50i Thermal Inkjet Printer?
The Domino G50i can print variable data pulled directly from databases, so every code generated can be distinct. This enables unique identification at the item level and supports applications against counterfeiting.
Its easy-to-use interface lets users create and edit codes through the HMI or from any web browser on a PC, smartphone, or tablet. Code layouts can also be imported through the HMI’s USB port.
The five-inch color touchscreen ensures a clear and accessible user experience. Thanks to its remote printhead, the Domino G50i thermal inkjet printer can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, making integration into current production lines straightforward.
